Opening of Minnesota Ballet History Exhibit October 4

 

The Minnesota Ballet and the St. Louis County Historical Society announce the opening of the ballet’s history exhibit in the Depot Great Hall Tuesday, October 4. The exhibit, with costumes and ten-panel history display, will run through October 24.

The Lost Forty - Brian Miller & Randy Gosa

 

“Lost Forty Project” Taps Long-Lost Recordings from Northern Minnesota to Bring Old Songs and Stories to Life.


The Lost Forty, will perform songs from the project at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 24th at the Duluth Depot’s Underground Theater, 506 W Michigan St, Duluth. This free concert is sponsored in part by the St. Louis County Historical Society.

2016 Mike Colalillo Medal of Honor Scholarship


Veterans’ Memorial Hall, a program of St. Louis County Historical Society, annually awards a scholarship in memory of Mike Colalillo, who was the last known surviving World War II Medal of Honor recipient in the state of Minnesota.

In 2016, a scholarship award of $1,500 will be given to one student.

The St. Louis County Historical Society is seeking volunteer gallery attendants for its Lake Superior Ojibwe Gallery.

 

Training will be provided.  We seek volunteers for all days.
