We recently acquired an 8 cubic yard AMSCO bucket, donated by the city of Chisholm Beautification Committee.  Unlike other buckets owned by MMM, this one has the sheave wheel for the bucket hoist rope attached to the bucket bail, a nice addition.

For a donation of $50 or more we can put a brass memorial plaque in any one of the train cars to honor loved ones.

The Coach or Club Train Cars are available to rent for special events such as a party or a meeting.  For more information, call 218-753-5021 or Lake Vermilion Chamber of Commerce at 218-753-2301.

Bruce Hively from Arrowhead Paint and Repair Inc. is committed to painting the exterior of the coach train car from May 11 until May permitting.  They need and are counting on warmer weather for that final coat of automotive paint.

Tower-Soudan Historical Society received a grant from the IRRRB in 2013 for this work, as well as for the electrical and interior Man Car rehab that was done the summer of 2014. The deadline for completing the work and receiving this grant money is December 2015 Background
